The IMBA has two fundraisers per year that involve all the students in all the instrumental bands, including the Strings and Jazz Ensembles. More details will be avaliable once school starts.
The first is our Pecan Sale, which begins in September. These aren't ordinary pecans....we take orders for pecans that are still on the trees! They are harvested, bagged with custom IMBA labels, and sent to us, still warm from the Georgia sunshine. We sell 1-pound bags of halves, and 1-pound bags of pieces. These mammoth pecans are absolutely delicious! They are delivered to us in November, just in time for the holidays. They make wonderful Christmas gifts, and can be frozen for use throughout the year.
In the spring, we have an Online Auction that features a full range of items from dozens of local businesses and individuals. In the past we have had various golf and entertainment packages, autographed collectible country music memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, gym memberships, party packages...the list goes on and on! You can view the auction items and place bids online, from the comfort of your home! More details will be available as the time approaches, but it's never too soon to begin thinking of items that you could donate to the auction.
